Anyone here have one or heard any comments about this company or the basses?

Saw them reviewed in BP mag a while back, but not sure they're on the market yet. I'm interested in getting one.
  3. The CVSB20 was in BP. IIRC, it sounded like like a good bass for the money.

Well I just tried out 2 of these. Both were the Les Paul type, one yellow, one red. I've got 2 words, or maybe one?
    Caca (as in pooh pooh).

The first feel and look was one of interest. Nice styling, the neck felt ok. The sound was ok, nothing memorable.
But upon closer inspection the flaws became evident.

The pickup routing was nasty. It looked like they were routed freehand and not with any kind of guide or jig.
The tuners were cast, but cheap looking.
The bridge was nice looking, like a Gotoh copy. But the action was lowered all the way down and was still too high. The neck was adjusted straight so no more lowering of the action there. And looking down the side of the neck made me dizzy from the waves.
It was only $219 , but that same $219 would be the makings of a kick butt SX bass!

My opinion is to avoid these basses like the plague!
