Anyone have AMPEG's 610HLF yet?

    What do you think of Ampeg's 610hlf? Do you own one or have you tried one? Tell me about it please. Also, what kind of power do you feed it?

    Dan,
    I tried one at GC a couple of weeks ago. My current amp is an Ampeg B2R and I ABC'd the amp through the 610, 810 and 115. At 4ohms the B2R is pushing 350 watts. I found the 610 to have a very punchy sound. I thought that it responded better to the B2R than the 810 did. I began to get a serious case of GAS and I was trying to figure out what I could sell, trade, whatever to get one!

    I A/B'd one with every other Ampeg cab GC had in stock last Saturday. I used an SVT 4 Pro to power em all. The 610 was nice, but I thought that the 410HLF sounded better. I don't know what it was exactly, but to me, the 410 just sounded better. Know what I am trying to get at??:confused:

    It is a nice cab, though. I preferred it to the 810's that I tried, and over their "top of the line" PR 410HLF. That one didn't impress me at all.:(
