All the SX owners and modders on this board, and not one has put a D-Tuner in the headstock?
I would put money on there being multiple people on here with D-tuners on their SX basses. Weekends are slow around here prime gig time.
Also, it's summer. Only losers like me stay at home and surf TB.
That and people who should be doing homework but are surfing TB instead
while on the Subject of SX basses......are they any good?
Do a search its been gone over many many times. In short for the price and out of the box they're good. With a little work and a small extra investment they are very very good basses, again in that price range.
For both SX's I've owned I had to file the nut slots deeper so I can fret the first 3 frets easier. And then it's a blast.
Yeah generally a new nut and some fretwork are the way to go.
wheres a good place buy one from?.....i dont think ive ever seen em on MF.com or music123.com...
rondomusic.net or their ebay store. They're the only dealer I know of.
BT-1, BT-2, BT-3, BT-4 ?
i only have 3 finals on monday....
Hey good question! As I was about to put a Hipshot D Tuner on my SX.

"Yeah generally a new nut and some fretwork are the way to go."
So I'd have to get a new nut or file the E string slot?
What kind of fretwork would I have to do?
Shoot. I'm not very good at DYI bass maintenance. Mebbe I'll just buy an SX or other 5er and call it a day!
