I heard good things about phaser II and I know there is a smaller version of phase, would be interesting to hear some opinions about the smaller one also.
  3. Yes, I have 2 PII. I love them.
The sound is very tweakable with 3 controls (feedback, rate and depth). Depth is a rare thing to find on phasers.

Other good phasers: EHX Small Stone and EHX Poly Phase
The Poly Phase has 2 modes, a normal sweep (Rate and Feedback) but also a envelope mode where the modulation and speed is controlled by the attack of the sound... pretty cool.

    Hope this helps
  4. Phaser I doesn't have the same controls (don't know exactly)
Plus I believe (someone corrects me) it doesn't have the same amout of phasing stages. The more the creamier the sound
  5. Check the "Effects Explained" at Harmony Central to figure out the details of what control does what. I am an engineer and like to tweak stuff... more buttons the better for me :hyper:
  6. One more thing, I noticed that it sounds way better with passive bass rather than active. It seems, unsurpisingly, that active basses push the Phasor II to overdrive (some might see it as a good thing).
