As stated in the title, im looking for a new bass in the $500-550 range, and the Fury series look quite nice. im just wondering if anyone has any knowledge concerning sound, quality, feel, etc.
    thanks

  2. I had a '95 Fury (P bass copy...dunno if they're still the same) and it was utter crap. No tone, very light (plywood!?) body, crummy hardware, and the neck twisted beyond repair when it was five years old.

    Not impressive.

Buy used. You can get a good bass for $600 used, and if you save up another $400 you could get a great one. If you like Peavey, check out the Cirrus. Great bass with killer tone.

  5. That's a great idea!
