What did you want to know about them?

They were officially released the last week of July. They retail for $2499.00. I had one for about 1 day before it sold. The bass balanced very well, not like the standard thumbs where you kinda have to hold the neck up. Very light weight...about 7.5-8 pounds, thanks to the Ash body and Flamed Maple Top{the top measured to be about 1 inch.} ( I just wish that the flame was a little more figured). The top The neck had the standard contour that all newer thumbs have. Sound wise...almost exactly like a thumb with a little bit more high end. Flamed maple headstock/fingerboard/neck, Chrome hardware, MEC gold active pickups, Mother of Pearl/Abalone inlays(I think the inlays are a love it/hate it kinda thing).

I think that pretty much covers it!

Here's a not so great picture of the bass{ I have plenty more if you want }....

..and holy crap do they rawk! (Yes, like totally!)

It was LIGHT, the neck was thick but nicely round and the tone was there - oh and of course it had stunning looks. What you don't see in the pics, the upper neck inlay is "Fuji sunset", sort of a mountain with the "sun" lower the more down the neck you get.

    I think I'm in love.. :(

    Yes, we want!!! :D :D

I would like to see some close-ups of those much-mentioned inlays.
Good thing that it only comes in 4-string, otherwise if it were available in 6, I would bbe gasing like hell for it...

  8. I would like to see some close ups of the fretboard inlays as well. :)

    Looks like a nice bass.

Out of interest, is that fretboard scallopped or is it just the light/wood patterning?

No the fretboard is not Scalloped.....it's just the Flame Maple Board and the lighting from the camera.

  16. I like those inlays, original and oriental.......lol
