Anyone have any Interpol bass tabs?

Discussion in 'Tablature and Notation [BG]' started by mr. eff, Jul 10, 2004.

  1. Just wanted some correct interpol tabs, mostly to NYC, Untitled, Specialist, obstacle 2, or any of them.

    oh come on :p

interpol aren't notorious for having especially difficult basslines.
i'll see what i can do though.

Just as a tip, think their bass player (gah..his name escapes me..) almost always plays in drop D tuning.

  4. I know, when I casually listened to them, I thought easy stuff; but once I started to listen more in depth...it can get a little tricky. :help:

Oh and I think his name is carlos, and he plays in drop d usually with a pick. (i'm not totally sure about the pick though.

Nope, you're right about the pick.

Interpol would be a perfect band to learn to transpose/ peg down the tab by ear,(provided you like indyrock). This is a really good opportuinity for you, as it's not too tricky but there's enough in there to make you think a little.
Make sure you get the tunings and just do it listening to the tracks over and over with your bass in your hands. It may seem daunting if you've never done this but you should be able to handle it.
