Big heavy and loud. Very mid-rangey. No tweeter so the highs are rolled off. Did I mention heavy? You need to be playing big venues to justify the 8x10 IMO.

    I advise doing a search...

ya man....I have right now a 4x10 eden combo cab and a 18" cab.I'm keeping the 18" for real low end but 8x10? not punchy ?should be.I'm running a 6 string.

The 810 can be very punchy. I would not use it with the 18 though. The 810 is very much a standalone cab. Sounds like you have a great rig already. Why would you want an 810...?

  6. I'm curious as to how you transport an 8x10. I guess you'd need to own a van or tie it to the roof of your Yugo.

    I find 8 x 10 cabs easier to deal with than 2
4 x 10s- as long as you got a vehicle it can fit
in (I've always had 810 svt cabs & Volkswagen
GTI hatchbacks since '83-fold seat down, cab tips
right in)-I handle the cab by myself until stairs are involved-
Then you become more hated than a drummer w/out
    stand cases
Used these cabs with various heads
(vintage SVT, acoustic 150 & 370, Seymour Duncan
400, SVT 350h)- sounded great w/ all of em
