that is just too cool. but how would anyone be even able to fly it? youd have to be in top physical condition. weird.
you can go to russia and buy old MIGs for cheaper.
Wow....I know that guy. He lives up north of me. I never knew he was into that kind of stuff.
Boy that figures!
I just bought an F-15 Eagle last week!
beat ya. i bought an F-16
I prefer Tomcats very much. I have a chance since they're all being decomissioned in 2006
Eh, I'm holding out for an SR-71
....but I wanted one in RED.
Alright, soon as I can afford it, I'm getting a pilot's license. And then, as soon as I can afford it, I'm getting that jet!
WOOHOO! 1000th post!
UPS, of course.
What, no flying lessons? Bah. I'll pass.
Well they left two live AIM-9 sidewider missiles on mine.
PLUS a pack of chewing gum on the dashboard!
Ahh, I'm afraid of heights. I'm quite content with my M1A1 tank. I only drive it on Sundays though. During the week I just cruise around in my beat up old T-64.
Really? Aww damn! I suppose they are being taken over by those fancy F-22's yeah?
*opens pocket, bug flies out* sry.
The F-22 is intended as a USAF air-superiority fighter to replace the F-15, the F-14 will be replaced by the F-35 JSF
Ah, the all-knowing Gard to the rescue. F-22's I don't believe are suited for carrier-based operation.
Naw, I'm far from "all-knowing"!!!
However, yes, the F-22 is not at all suited for carrier-based operations, the undercarriage on those Navy carrier birds are VERY robust, to take the pounding they call a "landing". I'd bet if someone tried to land a Raptor that way, there'd be pieces all over the deck first try.
Joint Strike Fighter, THATS the word I was looking for!
