Hey guys!!! Does anyone here enjoy Jazz and hip-hop? Jazz could have some good sounds!!! Anyways, I’m listening to a few tracks from the new Soullive album called break out. Has anyone heard it? I got it from my internship at umvd. They mix jazz music with hip-hop beats. I'd just thought to share with you guys. They have a website if you want to hear a few clips. See ya.

Digable Planets. Many of the samples are old school jazz - upright bass.

    Soulive.......too.

Wow I can't believe I'm the first to say this, but... The Roots.

Do you Want More?!?!?!? is the best place to start IMO. Perfect jazz hop, absolutely flawless drum and bass between ?uestlove and Hub.

Quite Sane. Check them out - amazing stuff. I haven't heard much about new releases from them lately, but their first album, The Child of Troubled Times, is great.
