anyone heard of Acoustic Image Amp Special Edition Super Coda 2R???

    did they really do that?before the new model came out?

    Yes, that's right.
    I ordered one of them (Hybrid combo 600W) the first days of September.
    AI announced the 15 July that the dealers have detailed information. You can contact Bob Gollihur site (www.gollihur.com) to ask if there is still some avalaible.

    They are all gone, have been for about 3-4 weeks now. I now have the new series III Clarus and Focus heads in stock, and I still have some of the special $300 EX cabinets, so you could put together more or less the same thing but in separates. The "Supercontras" were a pretty good deal when they were available.

    The SIII combos are expected start shipping in early January.

    Bob - can you run just the head with an external cabinet on the SIII combos like you used to be able to on the SII's? It doesn't look like it from the specs...

    No, the heads are now physically connected to the speakers, no external plug-in cable as with the earlier models.
