Anyone here gotten a replacement Hipshot bridge for their Roscoe?

I've had some back-and-forths with Jason over at Hipshot
regarding the radiused bridges used on Roscoe basses, and
their unreasonably high action. He said he's been hearing
many complaints about the Roscoe bridges. He also
    said they make a retrofit.

Has anyone here gone this route? How'd it go? I'm kind of
worried about the resale value, but on the other hand, it's a
fantastic instrument, and it may very well be a keeper...
    Help a brother out?
