I cannot, for the life of me, identify the model of this particular preamp.
It's a Trace Elliot GP7 SM, with no indication of wattage anywhere. I know that there are 150s, 200s, and 300s (or close) but how does one know? Is there a secret clue? Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

If it's not printed on the back near the speaker outputs, the only other place it might be (that I know of) is on a hand printed label on the power section PCB.

    Is that the preamp only?

    Doh!

Good catch. I just reread the original post and finally saw where whalebone describes it as a preamp.

Thing is, I bought a used AH300SMX a few years ago for $300 CDN because the store thought it was a preamp, seeing as how on the front it only says GP12 SMX Preamp. Nobody was sharp enough to ask why it weighs 25 lbs and why it has speaker outs.
