This ad that's been running non-stop at TB (probably above the message you are looking at right now) talks about the "iPhone for Bass Players". Something so revolutionary it will change bass playing forever.

Ok. Maybe it will. Probably it won't.

But it has stimulated my curiosity. Anyone know what it is?

If everyone on the Island in the T.V. show Lost is holding a bass I'm interested...

So it will be slow, overpriced and lack a lot of vital features? Great :meh:

I just figured from watching the video at the website that it is a touch screen amp head.

Maby Line 6 have been updating their bass?

  11. Perhaps taking fretless to the next level? Just do away with strings, "touch screen" fretboard maybe?:eek::hyper:

Yeah it s more in that direction i would say.... Maybe some kind of pickup and a unit that will act as a line 6 variax on any type of bass
That could be also an all digital light weight unit that includes amp preamp effects amp modeling etc
The bass player on the ad is called bassida , a danish female bass player.
I just checked her myspace and she is making some demos for TC electronic at NAMM next week ....

I hate advertisements! I am so susceptible to this sort of thing. I have no idea what this product is, but I want it. I need to join some kind of twelve step program (Compulsive Buyers Anonyms), or something.

A tageted marketing program. I can imagine what iPod is being advertised on the guitarist forums.

For the past few months I've been seeing banner ads that ask "overweight at 52?" Wow! How did it know?!?!?!? Yes, my computer leaks. But the ad program is seriously flawed -- it thinks I turned 53 on January 1st. :rollno:
