Anyone know what this is?

    I was given this bass from a friend and haven't been able to figure out what kind it is or what it is worth. There really aren't any markings that point to anything. Any ideas?

    It's a nice bass, with a nice flame top - don't know what it is too, but I just wanted to say that you have great friends to give you a bass!

    If I'm a seein' right it looks like you've got a set of Bartolini pups in that dog. That's worth about $200 right there. It also looks suspiciously like there might be a preamp in the the thing (maybe a Carvin from the layout) - not the best but serviceable. The wood top is simply awesome though! With the case and condition I would say you've got a pretty good instrument there.
