Anyone make a Les Paul 5-String????

  1. I've been looking for another bass and I've always loved the LP body style. Is anyone still making these?

Epiphone had one, I actually owned one, it was insanely heavy though, Not sure if they still make it.

maybe ESP or Ibanez? I know they both make an LP style bass, not sure about a 5er though.

Gibson made some Les Paul 5 string basses back in the mid 1990's. This was back when Gibson was trying to make a major push to bring bass players into the fold. A lot of these basses even had Bartolini pickups.

The current crop of Les Paul basses are only being offered as 4 string models. And if you do a search you should be able to find some info about those. But it seems like the ergonomics of those instruments are a secondary consideration.
