    I thought basses were pets.

All of our pets were adopted so they already had names. A dog, a parrot, and a lovebird.

However, we do also have a fish. I suppose we could call him Cirrus, though I doubt he would answer to it. :p

  4. i wrote a song that the only lyrics were my cats name, and a referance to our local transit system's color scheme:

    slightly off topic....

I worked for Apple Computers and while the iMac was still in generation 1 someone dumped a 6 month old kitten at the enterence to the parking lot while (on night shift) I was with some other employee's on a cigarette break.

I ended up keeping the cat (he's real cool).

    I named him "iMac"

I named my motorcycle after B.B. Kings guitar.

  12. I think FBB #43-01 would be a rather interesting name for a pet. :D

My ex girlfriend named a kitten I had gotten for her "Fender", on account of it sleeping in my gigbag all the time.

    :D :D :D LMAO!
(Of course, I do have a fish...and play Cirrus basses).
My fish doesn't listen to me either.
But then again, he's a Beta. Very anti-social.

I saw this thread title and thought "That's silly. Who would do that?"

Only later did it occur to me that one of my dogs is, in fact, named Jazzy. And my main bass is a Jazz.

She is a beagle-sheltie-corgi mix. My other dog is a dalmation named Polka. (Because she has dots-Get it?) We named the puppy Jazzy because we already had a music-themed-named dog, and just wanted to continue the theme.

Mea culpa. Mea maxima culpa. You may all 'Duh' at me now. I wanted to ridicule something and realized I had done it too.

No no no no. She's a dalmation. She's got dots. I had to.

Oh all right! You've got me! It's true...Deep in my heart, I want to be an accordionist! :bawl: :crying: :bag:

And I actually DO like Wierd Al. But I've never heard any of Frank Yankovic's stuff.

    Knew It!:smug:

Frankie is the Polka King. My Grandmother had his records.
There was an "Urban Rumour" for years that he was Wierd Al's Dad,
but I think he's more like an Uncle or something more distant.
