Anyone play a 3/2/1-string?

    If anybody here plays a three or less-string bass. What prompted you to pick it up? What kind of opinion have you gotten from other players? How do you tune it? Is there anything you really can't or wouldn't do on a 4-string? I for one know i'll never want four strings on my balalaikas...

    i often only play one string at a time, sometimes two at a time, and rarely three at a time.

    haha same here JT. Just out of curiousity, did Presidents' inspire this thread (2 string bassist) Fluke?
