Anyone played warwick cabs??

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by thirdeye, Jan 10, 2003.

  1. I've got 2 4II Pro 4x10 warwick cabs.

How do these stack up against Goliath III,Mesa RR and Ampeg cabs?

Are the warwick cabs similar to any of the above?

I don't have the oppitunity to play anything else,so I'd just like to know your opinions.

Yeah, i use a 211 pro and a laney 15 with an ashdown head, they seem like pretty good speakers, i actually tested them against a set of goliath 3jnrs and there wasn't alot in it, not to warrant the £200 odd difference anyways.

how are you finding the weight of the 411's?
I would prolly have 411s or a peavey 410 if my chiropractor would let me!

  3. My cabs are nice and heavy:)

I'm a medium built guy and with a bit of effort I have no trouble carrying for a short distance like frinstance from car park to inside a bar/club,but as soon as I'm faced with stairs It's a 2 man job.

  5. i've only ever played the 411 in a store, powered by the quadVI. that was a damn cool rig for the MM sterling, but i didn't like how warwick basses sounded thru warwick amplification.

the next time i'm in the market for an amp and cabs, i'm going to look at warwick very strongly. i like their stuff a lot.
