Anyone seen or heard these? (Gould, but not G. Gould)

Jus t found an unfamiliar bass company. Gould, but not the same company as G. Gould AFAIK. They use a reversed tuner system, and have a neck that's built up from 1/16" maple veneers. The body shape is unusual, looking like it was 75% stolen from the Tune Spass Bass. Here's a pic:

They're sold direct, but no pricing is on the website.

Anyone seen or heard them, or know what they go for?

Hmmm that's a new one on me. Never heard of them before. Makes me think of an updated Kubicki.

  3. I think Bass Player did a review of one of their basses several moths ago. It is a preety new company, and the basses take modern styles to the extreme.

I don't know how original the design is IMO. Reminds me of a cross between a Kubicki and a Status S-2 if you ask me.

Bass Player did do a review a few months ago on one of these and it got quite a nice writeup. Despite the headless neck, the bass takes regular strings, too.

I'll find the writeup tonight and try to post a cite and some more info.
