Anyone seen Tripping Billies?

  1. Hey just wondering if anyone here has seen the band Tripping Billies. They did an awesome job covering Dave Matthews Band. Thier bass played ripped it up, i was impressed!!!

    The only 'tribute' band I'd pay to see is The Mingus Dynasty...
    Sorry, a tribute band playing the tunes of a band that is very much still active...I dunno.
    Not saying they're 'wrong' or anything & I'm sure they're very happenin' players...just not my cup of tea...at all!
     
  3. well, i guess you'd see them if you like DMB and don't like paying $50 a ticket. :rolleyes:
     
  4. I saw them about two years ago, I am not a DMB fan, but this band definately has talent. I was able to enjoy music that I don't particularly care for, so I give Tripping Billies 2 thumbs up.
     
  5. Yeah 5 dollar cover, compared to 50 dollar ticket, well i think its worth the 50 dollars anyways, DMB is amazing either way ya look at it. Trippin Billies is very close to the real thing. I think thier a cover band, not a tribute band though, sorry my mistake.
