Anyone still gig their old lead sleds?

I'll take a Carbine out for spin occasionally and my old Walkabout (a mini lead sled) out occasionally as well. It's fun to play them and they still sound good to me.

That said, my class D heads are just giving me everything I want and they're easy to carry...oh yeah, and most have a variable HPF so that's one less piece of additional gear I have to worry about.

Most of the guys I see running the older gear are younger guys. It's generally cheap as the old guys with more disposable income aren't bidding up the prices the way you would see with a tube guitar amp or a vintage 4x12.

I bought my GK700rb ii and GK cab probably over a decade ago cheap, I assume from someone looking to lighten their rig. Sure's it's a heavy head for its size but I could barely buy a low end combo now for the price I paid - If I wanted professional lightweight equivalent, I'd be looking at 2-3x the cost today.
