I am looking to add this preamp to my rack for guitar and am wondering if anyone has ever tried playing bass outta one of these. I hear they are great for guitar and it would be even better if i could sink my $$$ into one nice preamp for git AND bass.

I really want a rackmountable fuzz for bass. I like the Rat rackmounts (didnt even know they existed til someone posted one here last night!). I wish that Fulltone made a rackmountable o.d.

    You're not. I do. It's great.

I've owned a Recto Directo as well. Never plugged it in with a bass, but it was awesome with guitar. My band recorded at Nothing studios last year, and we still ended up using some of the scratch tracks from the Recto, instead of the miced cab at Nothing. Nice!
