Anyone use a MidiVerb?

I saw that Victor Wooten uses an Alesis MidiVerb in his rig, and I'm wondering if anyone else here does. What do you use it for? Are the effects on it any good? How do you control it?

  2. I used to use a Quadraverb 2 for awhile, and it was way overkill for what I needed it for. The Midiverb 4 is a pretty solid unit and seems more suited for instruments in a live setting. The choruses, delays, and reverbs are great. Phaser (if I remember correctly) is pretty good, and so is the flanging. No real filtering to speak of, and the overdrives are crap. If you're looking for some nice ambient sounds to add a bit of color, it's a good unit that's easy to use.

You can control it with any midi foot controller.

I should have mine next week. I'll let you know what I think of it.
