I've been looking into picking up a ring modulator for some time. However, I havent been able to find any locally to test out. I like to throw in some sick sounding bass tones now and then, and from what I've gathered this could be a fun pedal.

Does anyone around here use a ring modultar/frequency analyzer? Does anyone have samples of this used on bass?

I personally don't even though i'd like one. Check out some of Claypool's stuff. The song "Lacquerhead" uses one I believe.

Cool Syc. That is a listenable tone. Keep em coming! I want to hear ring modulation at it's worst.

Here's a snippet from our jam room a week ago. Pardon the quality - the old 4-track can only handle so much!

The RM can be heard at 0.59, used with Big Muff pi & reverb. BTW, our guitarist mixed the bass so high, not me ;)
