Anyone use an overwound Fralin P?

I want classic P bass tone for my 2004 Am. Ser. P, which is inherently bright, so I figure I could get away with an overwound pickup for increased mids and output. The DiMarzio Model P I'm using now has great output, but I think I want something smoother, and a little more vintage.

So I'm looking for opinions and experiences with overwound Fralins.

    Thanks!

I have a stock Fralin P in my HRP (with a slightly overwound split J in the rear.) I think the stock wound Fralin nails a '62 type sound. Call and talk to them. If it isn't nailed with your first choice they'll rewind it.
