I'm a fan of the Peavey 210 and 410 cabs. I've got the older 410TX and it's great. I've just refused to lug it around anymore. I've switched to a pair of smaller cabs.

Contact John M. Cote. He's always been very happy to tell me about his 412-TVX. :D

I'm playing a Firebass II with a 412 TVX and while it's a bitch to move it sounds great and the price was right.

Yeah, it comes with casters (That's the least it should come with. It should also come with someone to help ya move it! )

Close to 130 lbs. It's also a fairly bulky box if ya have to lift it up on a stage by yourself but I love the way it sounds. You should hear the comments the first time someone comes to give ya hand movin' it.

    I've got a 210TXF and a 115BX BW.

I like the Black Widow 15-inch speakers a lot -- I think the Kevlar-impregnated cones have a lot of snap, but still sound warm.

Can't say I like the Sheffield 10s in the 2x10 as much -- plenty of punch, but can be kind of farty on low notes off my B string.

The two cabs together (powered by my T-Max amp) sound killer, though.

This rig is very transparent -- you're hearing the bass, without a lot of coloring from the amp.

I just had this rig out all weekend and it just tore the house down.

More info than you wanted, prolly.

I'd be intrigued to check out the new Pro Series cabs.

Nope. No 10 inch Black Widows. I use a pair of the old 410TXs and a pair of the 115BX BWs. Happy camper.
