anyone use the pre-shape on ABM amps?

    Just wondering.
    Ive just got one and although it sounds great at low volume ive not had a chance to play loud yet but it seems to make the tone very bright and not Ashdown sounding to me if that makes sence.

    Not often, I tend to keep it flat! I'll add in the EQ if I need, but I tend not to use the pre-shape!!!

    Oddly, when I had Trace Elliot, I did use the mid cut pre-shape......... :eek:

    I don't use the shape. I like a somewhat bright tone, but not that bright. Maybe I'll try it when my strings start to go dead... :)
