I've been contemplating it. I'm using Ti flats on my P and I love 'em, but I don't know if it'd take some of the magic away from the Sadowsky.
    Your opinions.

Sadowsky or Brand X, flats are flats. Either you like the sound
and feel or you don't. I didn't know Sadowskies had magic qualities. I always thought it was the player that cast the spell....Try some flats. Rotosound, TI, LaBella, or Sadowskie; (which are made by R. Cocco/LaBella) Either you'll like them or you won't. Let your own ears be the judge.

It sure won't sound the same! Since I got my metro I've been running flats on my old Hamer J bass, and I do really like the J-bass flatwound sound. If you're playing fingerstyle and like it warm and round, try it out. Roger's flats are some of the nicest I've tried BTW.
