Anyone wnat to share personal experience w/ Korg g5? I'm considering a purchase, but wanted to hear from other players first.
    I'm interested in it's reliability/durabilty/repairability
    Switching latency
    Tracking accuracy
    Useful features
    Design or performance gripes

I appreciate any feedback, I'll slap my bass silly in the meantime.

  2. If you've found one I suggest you snap it up quickly. I was very suprised that these wicked boxes never really caught on. Rarely do I have tracking problems, it has both input and output levels, has 9 programmable presets and a CV input to control the depth of your sweep with a vol. pedal. Oh yeah...it also sounds like GOD. With any synth you'd want to play a bit slower to get your notes through, the sound being so dense and all. I don't notice a latency issue on mine. I can get HUGE Moog tones, pipe organs, sawtooth waves...that Chameleon keyboard sound....a passable EV filter (digital of course)...I'm telling you.... none of those current boxes even come close. That Boss is just a toy. This is a tool. Only bitch would be that it is plastic. Best feature is the footpedal input. Switching is instantaneous. It's not true bypass but I don't care, it just sounds so fine, so huge.
