    i'll still probably apply a year and a half-ish from now... but i won't be all that surprised if i don't get it. :meh:


    the gates scholarship is better, anyway. :spit:

    Did you see that Kris Kristoferson was a Rhodes Scholar? Interesting.

    Rhodes Scholarship - that was funded with clean money. :rolleyes:

    Irrelevant? The scholarship came into being through the fortune made through the oppression and genocide of Africans. Under him, Lendy slaughtered thousands of Matabele with maxim machine guns and Rhodes made his colony, modestly named after himself. Although it has been funded with supplementary funds since the 1930s, I'm pretty sure there is still plenty of money coming from the procedes of Rhodes will. He was one of the richest men in the world at the time. One of the original aims was along the lines of promoting the superiority of the Anglo race.
