Anyone try this thing out yet?Looks like it might be more useful than the Bass X-Citer pedal.......
I'd never heard of it, which is unusual for me. Musicians Fiend have it in stock, yet it's not even listed on Aphex's website???
I saw it in the new GC ad.......
They have it at Club Bass here in Toronto (scroll down) Club Bass site
You can find them on ebay new for 139.00 shipped 2 day FED EX.
Have you tried the Black Finger? I've been wondering how it sounds, but I haven't had a chance to try it out for myself.
There's also the analogman CompROSSor, Juicer or Bi-CompROSSor (CompROSSor plus Juicer). I think bFunk has the bi-comprossor.
They also have the mini bicomp which has the attack as an internal trim pot. The size is very appealing, I'm trying to work out how often I would change the attack if I had a bi-compressor.
more details here
Compressor' s and 'Exciter's'
should be rack mount affairs.
Since 1975, I have yet to see either of these in
pedal form ever used in the Studio.
Just got one of these. I'm running my X-Factor into the Aphex, into a PreSonus TubePre, into my IAmp 350 Combo w/ext. First impression is pretty good. It is very punchy, and its giving me the head room to really open up the TubePre. BUTTAHHHH!
P.S Very easy to use.
