they believe that since i have a business modeling basses that i'm hawking my services and that i'm a "schmill" for Pro/Engineer.

    never my intent.

    many apologies.

I don't consider it spam. I consider it great art. you're ot really trying to sell anything, that I have noticed. I like seeing that stuff!

I didn't realize you did it for work, I just figured you had Cad/Cam/3d software and an itch... I guess that was just me in my dreams then...

Hey, I thought I was the only "schmill" here.

Tongue in cheek (I'm a schmill not a shill),

If the emails aren't coming from Mods, then you can tell whomever sent them to "pound sand."

If they were coming from Mods, I'd still tell them to pound sand. :D

  8. I meant to post this earlier but Bassmonkee has pretty much said it all.

If you don't hear it from JT or Me then it just ain't the law in these parts. Do not adjust your sets. Carry on.

As for the backdoor policy police - Fred, you have PM.

    thanks guys!

one thing REALLY stinky about the e-mails, is they are anon.

or at least e-mails that don't jive with TB accts.

i responded to one when the others came through, i just ignored them.

i wanted to cover all bases just in case by apologizing and backing off.

last thing i want to do is overstay a welcome!

should have checked with a mod first.

    appreciate the support!

Jeez, there's nothing wrong with sharing your accomplishments. Otherwise I would expect to get jumped on for posting pics of basses that I make. As long as there isn't a "Buy It Now" button on the picture I say go for it. I think seeing creativity in any form is inspiring :)

You were the first person I thought of a couple of weeks ago when I saw an article at cnn.com about a company that will build prototypes in small batches for CAD users. Did you happen to see it? I thought it'd be a cool way to get some custom bridges, tuning pegs, etc...

  15. i persoanlly really like them... they offer such a good insight into to me about how basses are designed and built through CNC plus they are just pretty to look at..

I must admit some are a lil on the large side but i had ADSL so it doesnt matter :D

Maybe a new section in the featured gallery could work well and then u can just link people to them and let them decided weather or not they want to click and view

    but certain keep on posting...

    I dont mind..

TB is no profitable anyway and i have never seen u tryin to sell something just mearly bring work and hobbies and interests together :)

    Rock on.!!!

Fred, keep up the good work. I just hooked up with a fewllow that does the exact same thing you do and we have some very cool designs ofr EuB's and basses in the works.

Now that sounded like spam but I promise it's not.

Now, who do i buy a lightwave from again, Fred ? ;-)

HA, i got a nasty letter from the eastern company.

pretty amusing that they go after the little guy (me) when they're runnin' scared.

that's all i can say without the threat of a cease and desist.

    WEAK!

    cool.

at my day job, we have a couple of rapid prototyping machines available to us on our intranet.

so, i personally wouldn't need that service, but i can imagine the market for that!!!
