my birthday is coming up and I don't know what I want. What type of appliances can I get for my bass or amp.

If you cant help me, that's fine I'll just ask for money

There's one thing that is bothering me. I can't find a way to send in some tabs I have for this site. Does anybod know how?

You mean like "effects" or "signal processors" ??? Or do you really mean like appliances, so you could, like, make toast while playing your bass? ;)

You don't have any profile info. filled in so I don't know what might really be best for you.

A SansAmp Bass Driver will make your bass sound like it's on steroids.

    Chorus is a useful effect.

Delay can make your sound real "trippy."

I answered your question about tabs on your tab post.

Get some good theory books (no tabs), honest!
I'll make you play and sound better in the long run than any gadget. Or spend the money on lessons.
If you don't miss anything you don't need it. E.g. is you feel that your music calls for a chorus or distortion, you'd know what you want, right?
But if I misread your post, specify your post a little, like what equipment you already have or what kind of music you play.
  4. Scoat3, by appliances, do you mean accessories like
pedals? If so, I like a phase shifter and/or a flanger.

A phaser sounds like the wobbley sound on the beginning of " Money" by the Ojays; a flanger is that
swooshing sound on "Lady in Red" by Chris De burgh.

I'm sure others will add their favorites.

:D LMAOCrMP ya' dang pop tart!

So that's what that light was fer on Frehley's Les Paul triple?

It was an E-Z Bake Oven!
  7. Any opinions on that 'bass balls' gadget i keep seeing in MF? worth gettin?
  8. hehe appliances... play bass and make smoothies at the same time!

hey SS it depends on what you're looking for. it's kind of a one trick pony thing, but it sounds so great, funky, ballsy and tight. see if you can try one out someplace.
  9. depending on the size of the bass and the size of the tank you have it in i would go with a castle or maybe a pile of rocks. they like to hide. or maybe one of those cool bubbley treasure chests that opens and close, they're kind of neat.
  10. oh so that's what it does..
ill try to find one at some stores around here.

every time i see "appliances for my bass" i chuckle on the inside. that's crazy.

Hey S/S :) . I got one when they first came out, hence the following
archaic reference: I remember it sounding very much like the
beginning of The Cars "You Might Think (I'm Foolish)". I ran a
Stingray through the b/b to a 2x12" tube combo.

:( Wish I hadn't traded it for that Mr. Coffee...
