Are 100 Watts Enough?

Ok I just started playing with this new band and we have our first gig this Saturday. When we rehearse I play through a nice Carvin stack they have but it kind of blew out the other day and none of us can really afford to fix it so I was wondering if my 100 watt Carvin combo will be enough for a club about twice the size of an average person's living room. I think the place has a PA but I'm not 100% sure. So Will my amp be enough for the show or should I dig into my savings to fix the stack fast?

Welcome to TB, Tone... etc. (man, what a username :D))
If there is a PA you will be fine, just plug in to it. I have survived with my 100W Bassman for many years. I have even used it as only bass source for a rock band in places of the size you describe, with 1x18"+1x15" - but then I was really pushing it. It depends much on what kind of music and how loud you will be playing. If you have to use it alone, maybe you could add an extra cabinet?
