I have never gigged with mine, and I'm afraid to "try it out" on a live crowd at a paying gig.

However, sitting at home and playing through it with headphones it sounds bitchin.

A pro player whom I very much respect and whose initials are "Trip Wamsley" said, "Do not use that pedal. It will cause terminal damage to your tone".

    What do YOU say?

I had one for over three years before I sold it on eBay...I ended up missing it (EGADS!), so I bought another one. The "terminal damage" remark is over the top, in my opinion; you can adjust whatever tone you want eight ways from Sunday, or you can simply hit BYPASS.

It doesn't do the job of dedicated pedals, but it does what it does rather well, and the presets leave much to be desired.

I plan on using it with an Aphex Bass Xciter, we'll see what happens with that.

You could always do a sound check with it; if it doesn't do anything for you, you can just part it out of the effects loop.
