I never see any on the Bay for sale. I am looking diligently for a BN6 and can't find any anywhere for sale. Where do you get these from?
I believe the Atlanta Bass Gallery has a nice used BN6 for sale... http://www.atlantabassgallery.com/basses.php?cat=0&cond=U
Used BN6 is very hard to find...I think Gelb Music here in Redwood City still has a new one. I truely believe the maple board ash body combo is the ticket for the F bass sound. I've tried other board and it's just not the sound I want.
+2 I recently found out that I'm an ash + maple guy. After having spent good quality time with one of the most beautiful Sadowsky NYC's to date (chambered ash w/ebony board), I was totally drawn to the F's feel and sound. Can't beat it.
Heh, it's no big deal. Just joking around. I am trying to raise the money for it, but I don't expect it to last too much longer. :^/
The problem that most people have with 4s is that the upcharges are too much for most to handle. Unfortunate, but true.
No sweat... I knew that. Best of luck getting it. This would be one I'd sell a kidney for if I didn't already have one.
HI They are rare compared to alot of basses you might know about as far as numbers produced. He pretty much hand makes them. Rob
most people hang on their F basses because..... THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME !!!! Used sixers are hard to find, indeed.
I love my BN5. I would get others F Bass now without problems.... A bit later, I need to save money! Vince
