I'm about to install a push/pull pot on my standard J.

will a mini pot affect 'tone' in any way? i've looked out one by dimarzio and its £10 so should be reliable.

also, is there any disadvantage on having two different pots for volume? it seems it would be complicated soldering caps to the tiny push pull switch for a tone control.

  2. In my experience the mini ones don't sound any different.

  3. does a regular resistor sound different than an SMT?

    (no)
