I see a lot of people at gigs with monstrous pedalboards. They haul the thing to the gig and take up half the real estate on stage. Then they use like two pedals during their entire set! Has the pedalboard replaced the big amp as the new way to show off manhood?

I respect the guy with the 2-3 effect board that uses it well more than these dudes who are flaunting 20 pedals and not using them. How does the old saying go...

My pedalboard is definitely a phallic symbol. I stomp on it all the time and use every inch of it.

Of course not. Pedalboards are simply tools to express ourselves and expand our horizons musically.

But still . . . mine is bigger than yours.
  5. Mine is pretty Phallic. I love effects and my board is verging on the largest I've seen in the flesh....

I do use them all, but maybe not in the same session. It really depends on what im playing at the time as to what i'll use, but I like to have them all ready to go in the one setup.

In short though, im sure most people would assume that me standing there with 180 degrees of effects around me and not using them all is purely a penis extension :D

    oops! Phallic, not falic.

As you can see, I am not compensating for anything. ;)

  7. What, and guitars AREN'T phallic symbols?

    I'm long scale, for sure...
  8. My guitarist is a Phallic-Head if that counts?

C'mon, now I just feel cheap and dirty for having a big...huge...pedal board!

Is that a Fulltone or are you just happy to see me!

pedalboards are just lots of fun, mang...

that being said, i'm likin' this thread... it allows me to make the following True Statement:
"my Phallus has an Assmaster on it."
do with that what you will.

I would say that's akin to your setup not possessing the requisite prophylactic but that is, as we say, stretching the analogy too far.
