Are the Fender Mustang reissue basses any good?

  1. They sure are tiny. But i just want to know if they are good basses becasue he havent tried any of the reissued models.

    they are "Nifty" more than anything. cool to play, if you the money to have a "neato" bass, go for it.

    I personally think they sound like crap, but that's me. Like a lo-fi P bass or something... hard to explain. They're definitely priced too high to have any kind of real value, but like it was said before - it sure would be cool to have one just to have one. :D
     
  5. Yup, what those guys said. They lack any kind of balls and the tone is wimpy, very lo-fi, but hey, I'd get one just for that occasional punk-ish session.

    I haven't played any of the new ones, but I never liked the sound of the vintage mustang. I can't imagine the new one's being any better.
