I need monster low end and volume but only want to use 1 cab. I currently use a Madison 412 but need more.

If I wasn't Po' White Trash I'd have 'em.
  4. Did anyone else see that they make a 6x15 cab? Are my eyes really that bad?

it seems like electric amps just make guitar cabs.

You can ask them to put bass speakers in them.

you could also get in touch with
they seem to be very reasonably priced, and their cabs are pretty sweet looking.

Also looks like just guitar cabs. I wonder if Jorg from Schroeder cabs could make one.

A high-quality 4x12 (ie Aguilar) would be much more than the Madison 4x12 you now have.

Yeah I considered the Aguilar but wanted to see if I could get a 612 for around the same money and have 2 xtra speakers. If getting one custom made is too expensive i'll probably go with the Aguilar. Just wanna explore all options first.
  13. That German Tech company I can't remember the name of right now, had a 6x12 built with 3 front facing speakers and 3 side firing speakers, it looked like a monster Schroeder with some nice black and white details.

A high-quality 4x12 will outperform a lesser quality 6x12. While pushing air is important, there comes a point where quality is better than quantity.

See: Bergantino's 6x10 (versus even an Ampeg 8x10), Sadowsky Audio 2x10 (versus cheap 4x10 cabs)

Low Down Sound would custom make you one for pretty reasonable.

Janice makes a really cool ported 6x12 specifically for bass. They also make a great bass 4x12 as well. A friend of mine has one. Lot of midrange and high end, naturally, if you're into that. http://www.janicecabs.com/bass-cabs/
  19. Wonderful but do you realize this thread is SIX years old??
