are these any good

    are these bass speakers i ment to ask

    ok soes any one know if there bass speakers.
     
  5. I might be wrong but it is always best to deal with a company that has their own domain name.

    It seems to be one of the first things a company buys these days.

    onebox.com is free, plus they give you fax, answering service and so on. Not that this is bad but it is a personal thing, IMO a good company will have a little more money invested in the company.

    here is what they say about it:

    Silver poly cone, 50 oz. magnet, 2.5" voice coil, rubber surround, 300 watts rms, 600 peak, 4 ohms, 90db and plays from 30 to 3500hz.

    50oz magnet seems a little small for a 15" speaker.

    4 ohms may be low if you want to run multiple cabs, if you get 2x15 you could wire them in series for 8 ohms.

    90db is not very loud...

    speakerhole.com sells a lot of stuff through ebay. They are probably a reliable company. But don't forget that if you buy a $30 speaker... you usually get what you pay for.

    I bought a pair of 15s for $40 each and I like them a lot... but they are definately $40 speakers. :)
