    Hi all!

I'm spending a lot more time indoors now due to the lovely British winter weather (rain and cold) so naturally, I'm getting back into gaming.

My speakers are Wharfedale 510.2 from a few years back, and the drivers are very hard to find nowadays. I play mostly street racing games and FPS. They sound awesome for music, but I'm afraid I will blow the drivers out with my shooter games.

Are the explosions, shattering glass etc from FPS posing any harm to my speakers? I never have them too loud, but my amp is more than capable of blowing them to bits.

    I have: Wharfedale 510.2. 100w program (about 50Wrms) 8 ohm each.

    Harman/Kardon HK610.
    45Wrms/side at 4ohm at 20hz-20khz.
    0.5hz-100khz Frequency range.
    +/- 30A Instant current/side.

    Many festive thanks!

    Im addicted to punishing volume.
theyre gonna be a whole lot better sounding then a HTIB or blose

  4. Probably not unless your at extreme volumes.
I would suggest a sub for those explosions, etc.
