Are we going to do a Chicago get-together before the snow flies, or what?

I think we should just do one already!

What about Rosemont or Oak Park? Both are near major expressways and CTA trains.

I'm still up for one, although I'm moving to Dekalb (30 mins NW of Yorkville) on Wednesday (so I'll be farther from the meeting point). Speaking of snow, maybe we should throw a combination bass/sledding party! :D

    I wish I could, but I can't...

    Who can host this?

I figured we'd be renting out the McCormick Center.

    ;)

  8. I could offer up my folks' place in McHenry if it were sometime between the 19th and 23rd, but that's a long way out from the city and the trains don't run into Chicago after 6 or so (if memory serves).

I might be able to make it up there, don't know where it would be held, could we rent some unused space out for a day? Like an apartement?

I don't have a space for us to meet, and it doesn't sound like anyone else does, either.

Why don't we all get together at the guitar show that's coming up next month in Elgin?

It's Sunday 9-22-02 at the Hemmens Auditorium in Elgin, IL. Elgin is about 40 miles WNW of Chicago, and is located on I-90 with easy access to public transportation (two blocks from the Elgin Metra station).

    What say? Who's in?

Elgin? Sweet. I didn't know about the guitar show, but I'm going to mark it on my calender. If you want to meet me there, I'll be the guy in the pants.

It's not a bad one - not like the Three Amigos shows, but it's OK. It's put on by Rob from Bakes Music, who also does the Dolton show (February) and was doing the Brat Stop show (April, but no more). It's worth the trip. You'll spend an hour or so doing one circuit of the tables - maybe 60 or so vendors.

We could all meet here today, at some time! Just were some sort of bass related...something.

I say we wear plain white shirts, then write TB.com or something.
