Are we not looking at a Highway1 J bass here?

  1. It's a Highway 1.

    Edit: Truss rod adjustment on the headstock, no string through ferrules, MIM style tuners, etc.
     
  2. Maybe he doesn't know it's a Highway 1? It's possible.... :p

    Nah. I bought a Highway 1 P on ebay that was being sold just as "made in the usa." Lots of pics - none of the back so you could see the missing string ferrules. I didn't get fooled, but I did pay a little more than I probably should have. Worked out well, though - my Highway 1 P is a great player!

    Aren't Hwy 1 models finished in nitro?

    Man yeah thats a highway one , i mean its not even string through.

    I can get a american standard p bass with one of those deluxe fender tweed hardshell cases both in good shape the bass has a dime size ding on it for 550$ talk about a deal, only problem is he lives an hour away and i ride the bus to college, ugh no car:bawl:
