    hay everbody. i am 14 years old and play a squier precision bass on my brothers 15 watt guitar amp and the sound sucks. i was wonderin if anybody new a good amp that has that bass sound. I want to spend about up to 200. please respond

    For the price range you're looking at, I really like Peavey's small combo amps.

    Same stuff, same working condition, nearly half the price.

    Well... maybe. There are good used deals out there, true.

    There are also half-broken pieces of $#!t that someone is trying to unload before it gives up the ghost.

    If you do this, don't do eBay. Buying used, IMHO, requires an in-person audition and test.

    I couldn't agree more. I don't know why, but I'm much more hesitant to buy a used amp than a used bass. :confused:

    But like bigbeefdog's posted, if you can give the amp a really hard testing session, you'll be alright. :cool:

    But I'd better get used to buying a used amp, I want a vintage SVT one day! ;)
