Aria Pro II SB-B&G date of production

    Hello!

    I have been looking at some SB-Black & Gold basses, and I looked at the serial of one up for sale. It was a 7 digit serial starting with a 1, indicating it's from 1981, like the seller states. I checked on the Matsumoku website (Aria/Aria Pro II Basses), and if you scroll to the B&G section, it says it was in production from 84-87. Does anyone know why this is, and why the serial doesn't match the years of production?

    Hi, Have you checked in with the guys at the Aria Pro II club? They're probably your best shot for such an answer as APII owners are few and far in between on across the general forum as a whole.

    Frequently people put a black bridge with gold saddles on a black SB-R60. They look similar but there are differences.
