This is a true Japanese cult classic, to say the least.

It is quite ingenious. It is like an Alembic, or a Cirrus, only it's passive, so never worry about batteries. It sounds active due to the hot pickups, yet retains the warmth and growl associated with passive pickups. It's a win / win

How can you go wrong with 24 frets , 34" scale, alder body, maple neck, rosewood fret board, snake eye inlays, and multi laminate neck thru body hippy sandwich that all passive but sounds active ? Well, you can't !!

It has the classic vol /vol / tone with a coil tap for each pickup, too.

The sound is classic growl with dead on Pbass and jazz bass and added "smoothness" but coil tapping. So easy to use, yet so versatile.

Aside from the non original knobs, this bass is in near museum quality. There is not a single blemish anywhere.

Photos do not do this bass justice. I lightened the photos a tad to show the wood grain a little better, but in person you see 100% more.
