Aria STB JB for a first bass?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by palmerage, Apr 4, 2009.

  1. Hey everyone,

This is my first thread/post on these forums and the forums look good so far. Anyways, im looking at buying the Aria STB JB jazz bass. What does everyone think of this? Is it a good starter bass guitar and quite reliable. Does it sound good for the quality?

    Any more info appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. Bump, please help.

In general, I've heard good things about the STB series as far as being a solid beginner bass. It should be a good bass to learn on for a good price. Check the Aria and Aria Pro II club on here, maybe someone has one.

ive got a five string JBDX5, i think thats in the same series. Its not a bad bass, probably good for the money, although the preamp and active circuits too sensitive for me, im actually looking into making the pickups passive. probably a good 5 string fo a frist foray into fives.
