Armstrong Plexi Bass Sound Clips?

    Ive been looking at the specs for this bass and, as cool as it looks, and despite it's weight Ive never heard how it sounds.
    Does anyone have sound bites or links as to how this bass sounds?

    Every one I've ever heard reminded me of a slightly better sounding Gibson EB-0...as if someone had said "Gosh, I hate that Gibson muddy indistinct rumble...but I love it just the same! How can I have my cake & eat it too?"

    Check out Jack Bruce's playing on the tune "Are You The One? Are You The One?" from John McLaughlin's 1977 album Johnny McLaughlin, Electric Guitarist. Killer trio by Jack, John, & Tony Williams, with Jack tearing up a fretless Ampeg Dan Armstrong bass.

    Interesting...
    I'm assuming that the EB-0 sound is when it has "Deep Bass" pickup in.
    Do you know anything about the "Bright Bass" pickup's sound?

    I never knew which pickup I was listening to, sorry.
